Veneer Laser Cutting and Engraving
Our systems are the ideal instrument for cutting and engraving veneers, most of all because the laser beam does not get in direct contact with the material to be worked. Veneers are thin sheets of wood, with a thickness of few millimetres. Since veneer is often used as coating of non-precious woods, it is quite delicate to be cut, most of all if you want to obtain inlay works or decorations.
Laser is also used to carry out micro drilling on veneers, with the aim to create noise-absorbing panels.
Why using laser to cut and engrave veneer?
- There are no scraps or chips resulting from the machining
- edges after cutting are accurate and they need no additional finishing
- laser cutting is faster than cutting made with other tools
- laser micro drilling allows creating noise-absorbing panels
