It is possible to work on every acrylic material but PVC, as it generates toxic smokes for mankind and environment.
Methacrylate, usually called Plexiglass, gets the best results among the plastic materials processed with laser ; depending on the kind of material the surface can be opacisied (extruded Plexiglas) or polished (strained Plexiglas).
It is also possible to cut the plastic material when it is thin up to few mm.
